Octate is a single, unified cloud ERP — accounting, inventory, procurement, warehouse, project costing, and e-invoicing all run on one data model out of the box. Zoho is a suite of 45+ separately built apps (Zoho Books, Zoho Inventory, Zoho CRM, and so on) that you license and connect together, either individually or as a bundle through Zoho One. Octate tends to fit businesses that want core operations working together from day one without assembling and syncing multiple apps.

Most Octate small-business go-lives take 2 to 6 weeks, covering accounting, inventory, and procurement together as one system. Zoho's own implementation programs quote roughly 2 to 3 weeks for a single app with a defined scope (around 15–25 hours of setup work), but that timeline is per app — a multi-app rollout covering accounting, inventory, and CRM together typically takes longer, since each app is configured and then connected to the others rather than working as one system from the start.

Zoho publishes UAE e-invoicing guidance for customers and already runs live Peppol-based e-invoicing in other markets (Belgium, Singapore) plus a ZATCA-approved integration in Saudi Arabia — but whether a native, live Peppol PINT AE integration for the UAE mandate specifically has shipped, versus still being in development, isn't something we could confirm with certainty and should be checked directly with Zoho before publishing a claim either way. As with any UAE ERP or accounting platform, businesses will also need to appoint a separate FTA-Accredited Service Provider (ASP) to comply with the mandate — that requirement applies regardless of vendor. Octate includes UAE e-invoicing capabilities aligned with the FTA mandate timeline — see the e-invoicing feature page for details.

Zoho support is tiered — a self-serve knowledge base and community forum by default, with paid Premium/Enterprise plans for faster response times, and multi-app rollouts are commonly delivered through certified Zoho implementation partners rather than Zoho directly. Octate is a single vendor for the whole relationship: implementation, support, and platform updates all come from Octate directly.
